Yesterday WWE made waves when Logan Paul came to SmackDown and delivered a challenge to Chief Roman Reigns in the form of a press conference regarding Crown Jewel. He then brought the conference together Monday along with the rest of The Bloodline and Triple H, and during the conference, Triple H was made between Reigns and Paul the Crown Jewel official, and he also said he would be the undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Things got a little physical at the end and there was some back and forth between Paul and Reigns, and the whole ordeal definitely got fans talking on social media, although they seem a little divided on how they feel right now.
Some look to the match itself for what scene it’s going to be, but Paul isn’t necessarily happy taking the title over someone else on the list who deserves more. Others are completely against it, others are completely inflated, and then there are people in the areas in between.
Before Paul signed a deal with WWE, he talked about possibly wanting to do more with WWE on the Impaulsive podcast. “I don’t have a fan base in WWE, I think that’s why they like me,” Paul said. “I think part of my value comes in bridging the gap between the mainstream and the world of WWE. If I end up getting involved more, I’d like to help bridge that gap with WWE. I think there is a way to make it mainstream, a viral cultural phenomenon with WWE.”
“I want to be humble, and I will, but I’m good at this. I’ve realized all my life, I’ve been throwing my body out of things, I’m flexible, and doing these stunts,” Paul said.
